interaction : the interaction between physical and emotional illness

cocoon : A cocoon is a covering of silky threads that the larvae of moths and other insects make for themselves before they grow into adults.

hexagon : A hexagon is a shape that has six straight sides.

cell : A cell is the smallest part of an animal or plant that is able to function independently. Every animal or plant is made up of millions of cells.

 생물은 누구나 환경 속에서 자기만의 독특한 공간, 즉 역할이나 지위를 차지하고 있다는 개념이다. 공간의 개념에서 설명하자면, 환경에서 생물이 차지하고 있는 다 차원 공간을 뜻한다. 모든 생물들은 공생이라는 개념과 관련이 있다. 인간도 예외는 될 수 없다. 생물을 구성하는 세포는 공생이라는 단어를 실천하고 있기 때문이다.  

 각각의 세포들은 변이와 적응을 통해서, 환경에 맞게 기능이 변화해간다. 형태또한 변화를 하게 된다. 이번 프로젝트는 학교라는 기능의 건물이다. 교육시스템은 건축환경에 많은 영향을 받는다. 그러나 교육환경(건축)은 변화하지 않고 교육시스템만 빠르게 변화해 간다. 이는 건축환경이 교육시스템;기능을 충족시키지 못하는 것이다. 생태적으로 보이는 세포나 생물의 적응과 진화를 본따온 학교 건축을 제시하는 바이다.
